Employment and Internships
Employment opportunities are available at Peak Physical Therapy & Wellness for those individuals who possess exceptional people skills, compassion and the required educational experiences. A minimum requirement for employment is a bachelors degree in your given field of interest as it applies to the positions we hire for.
We welcome your resume for review at any time, but job openings with Peak Physical Therapy & Wellness are rare as we have little turnover.
Internships
We offer internships throughout the year to students in their final year of study. Our internship program is typically 12 or 16 weeks in duration. Student interns receive a stipend of $100.00 a week.
Responsibilities include working in the following areas:
- Instruction and monitoring of stretching routines
- One-on-one strength training through progressive resistance exercises
- Evaluation and rehabilitation of spinal strength and range of motion deficiencies using MedX medical equipment
- Documentation of patients care through treatment notes and reports
- Maintenance of patient satisfaction
- Scheduling patients and performing general office work
